Matt completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours, in Kinesiology and Health Sciences, as well as a Certificate in Athletic Therapy, both at York University. During his time in the Athletic Therapy Certificate Program, Matt worked with various varsity teams at the University of Toronto and York University, as well as the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League. As an athlete, Matt grew up playing soccer, mostly for the Toronto Lynx before transitioning to York University's Men's Soccer Program. As a therapist, Matt likes to employ an evidence based approach to not only promote exercise as a form of medicine and rehabilitation, but to also encourage athletes to become proactive with their health, rather than reactive, in order to prevent injuries from occurring and enhance their athletic performance.
