Derek Van Ness, BASC. Kin, TPI


Derek completed his degree in Kinesiology through the University of Guelph-Humber as well as a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Georgian College. He is a former hockey player who was drafted in the 5th round of the OHL draft by the Windsor Spitfires before a lengthy junior hockey career that led to two years of ACHA D2 hockey at the University of Lindenwood-Belleville, while studying Exercise Science. Derek has over 4 years of experience working with clients of all ages and fitness levels to achieve their goals. Throughout his experience he has established a foundation of biomechanical principles to optimize performance and improve the quality of life of his clients. He is also certified through the Titleist Performance Institute to identify an individualís physical readiness for golf and how it relates to their swing to then build exercise programs to address any limitations.
