The Mind to Muscle Cup is our annual charity hockey game, bringing together some of the area’s top hockey talent from PRO, OHL, NCAA, and CIS. Proceeds support the Barrie Food Bank.

ABOUT the program

The Mind to Muscle (M2M) Cup returns for its 11th annual charity hockey game, bringing together top local talent in support of the Barrie Food Bank. In partnership with Purolator, the OHL Barrie Colts, Barrie Minor Hockey, and the Barrie Women’s Hockey Association, we’re working to help combat food insecurity in our community. Enjoy free admission, popcorn, and pizza for donors, plus an exciting game, and a special appearance from Charlie Horse.

The Cause

The Barrie Food Bank, is a “Community Foodbank”, supported by our local residents, and makes a significant difference in the lives of women, men and children. Sharon Palmer, Executive Director reports that “Food Bank usage is up +95% over last year with over 7,000 individuals counting on the Food Bank for food support each month."
