
Brandon Kirkwood is an experienced strength and conditioning coach and rugby development leader with over 14 years of coaching experience. He is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), CSEP Certified Personal Trainer, World Rugby Strength and Conditioning Level 1 coach, and NCCP Level 3 Rugby Coach.
Brandon has coached extensively with the Barrie Rugby Club men’s and junior programs and currently serves as Director of Player Development, overseeing athlete and coach pathways. His coaching experience includes collegiate and club rugby, including serving as Head Coach of the University of Toronto Men's Rugby Program. He has been part of medal-winning collegiate programs as both a player and coach.
He is also the founder of Northern Performance Rugby Academy and spent 14 years working at Georgian College in fitness and health promotion roles. With a background in physical rehabilitation, Brandon focuses on long-term athlete development through functional movement and sustainable performance training that keeps athletes healthy and performing at their best.
