Masters of Advanced Clinical Science in Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy

Shannon Michels, our Physiotherapist Consultant, graduated with a BSc in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, a BHSc in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and completed the Masters of Clinical Science in Physiotherapy from Western University in 2014. In 2003, she completed the Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. Shannon is a credentialed instructor with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Shannon has developed the ability to incorporate a variety of manual based modalities such as manipulation, fascial release, acupuncture and craniosacral therapy to manage complex orthopaedic and pain issues. With over 20 years of experience, Shannon has had the opportunity to work with elite performance and recreational athletes.
